Emma's art spans a wide variety of mediums and styles, from oil painting, to pen, charcoal and even sculptural pieces. Recently, she has been particularly enthralled with the effects of oil paint on un-stretched canvas and hopes to continue to explore the possibilities of this technique.

Emma is a film major at Pratt Institute. There she is learning all aspects of the filmmaking process, including screenwriting, producing, directing, and editing. She is particularly passionate about directing and loves the way in which she can harness the aspects of visual and performing art to achieve her vision.

Photography is an integral part of any filmmaker's toolkit. Understanding the nuances of a still image before transitioning into the moving image allows the filmmaker to create emotionally connected art. Emma is fascinated by the power of photography and is currently primarily working in 35mm film.
